Air Sealing Improvements
We can perform a Blower Door Test In.

Seal the top plates in the attic

Seal all plumbing penetrations in the attic.

Seal and dam the light fixtures in the attic.

Seal all duct "boots" to the attic floor.

Seal plumbing penetrations inside the thermal boundary; toilet penetrations, sink penetrations, washer/dryer connections.

Seal all electrical outlets if necessary.

Weatherstrip all exterior doors to where there is "no play" in the door.

Seal the areas around your fireplace and to where mortar meets the sheetrock.

Attic Improvements
Ventilation:
-
Install baffles in the rafter bays for improved ventilation if soffit construction.

Install fiberglass batts at the junction of the attic floor and the eave at soffit vents to keep insulation from clogging the soffit vents.

If hip roofing, Install more passive venting or a solar fan to keep the attic cooler.
Insulation:
-
Remove any contaminated insulation and/or old insulation. This is a hard job!

Install fiberglass batts on any exposed knee walls.
-
Install fiberglass batts around all drain pans to keep insulation from clogging drain lines in the future.

Weatherstrip and add batt insulation to attic hatches. If a stairbox entry, add an attic tent.

Install attic rulers for every 300 sq.ft. of attic floor.

Insulate to a smooth and even R38 or higher!
Air Duct Sealing

Seal all return and supply plenums.

Seal all duct boots to the attic floor.

Seal all duct run junction boxes.

Seal all supply vents between the boot and the drywall.
We can Test-Out with the Duct Blaster to single digit overall leakage!

Size your return and supply plenums correctly

Install new curved blade supply grills to increase airflow
